The Details: 

  

The People & Talent Generalist will play a key role in supporting and implementing HR policies and programs across multiple areas, including employee relations, learning and development, and compliance. The ideal candidate possesses a broad HR background and is passionate about creating positive employee experience. This position interacts with many individuals at a variety of levels within and external to the organization and displays the ability to coach and advise leaders and team members. The People & Talent Generalist will report to the AVP, People & Talent. 

What will you do? (Job Duties)

  • Complete tasks to support training and development, employee relations, and employee lifecycle.
  • Serves as a point of contact for HR related questions from all team members throughout the organization. 
  • Assist the AVP, People & Talent by supporting conflict resolution and providing guidance on handling sensitive employment matters. 
  • Assists the Senior Leadership on the People and Talent team with various projects.
  • Support training and development strategy created by the People & Talent leaders. 
  • Supports in all People & Talent administrative tasks to include but not limited to, setting up training courses for learning and development, assisting the IT department with coordinating their trainings, coordinating lunches, and reserving the board room for events, supporting communicating around our DICE initiatives, etc.
  • Maintain HR policy and procedures and administer changes and updates, as needed.
  • Maintain relevant HR documents and information on HR SharePoint for employee programs, events, and activities for both departmental and public audiences.
  • Support the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner with recruiting coordination. 
  • Plan and participate in employee engagement activities to build a positive work culture.
  • Conduct employee surveys, analyze data, and recommend initiatives to improve morale, retention, and productivity.
  • Serve as the onboarding lead for all new hires and be a resource for routine benefit questions.
  •  Create e-files and personnel files as well as employee folders for onboarding and separation. Files documents appropriately.
  • Generates basic reports from various systems on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Be responsible, organized, and a problem solver.
  • Possess strong attention to detail, analytical, time management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work in a team.

 

What we are looking for: (Experience) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, preferable in a generalist role 
  • 1+ years of recruiting experience preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws 
  • Experience working with Paylocity or another HCM system is required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 
  • Strong verbal and written communication combined with organizational skills. 
  • Negotiation and influencing skills. 
  • Build strong relationships through transparency, trust, and respect for each other. 
  • Work in an agile environment, with a resilient mindset to find creative solutions to challenges. 
  • Collaborate and celebrate diverse perspectives, promoting inclusivity and equality.

Pay Range: $73,000 – $110,000 

The above pay range is for all US-based roles based on function and level, benchmarked against companies of similar size and scope. To be compliant with local legislation as well as provide greater transparency to candidates, we disclose salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired job location. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual long-term incentive stock grants. In addition, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and qualifications, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
