The Details:
The QA Analyst is responsible for developing, writing and executing testing against the product development life cycle.
This position is responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations.
The QA Analyst will work collaboratively with IT and business units to refine requirements, identify testing scope and provide quality assurance guidance to minimize risk and maximize quality across products.
What will you do?:
- Assist with requirements refinement and grooming for the product platform.
- Collaborate with BA’s, Developers, SME’s and key stakeholders to help refine requirements and promote high quality implementations where necessary.
- Participate in story mapping and project planning ceremonies for new technology implementations.
- Create and maintain product documentation to be utilized as training resources or reference documents for future testing efforts.
- Act as QA SME for assigned product LOB for junior and other QA team members.
- Develop and manage testing cycles against complex requirements, for both feature releases and base regression requirements.
- Understand and maintain SOX compliance standards through the development and release life cycle.
- Decompose high-level concepts and requirements into detailed, executable test plans. Work with BA and Dev team to identify testing strategy and scope.
- Work closely with other QA members to coordinate and execute monthly base regression as well as high priority escalations requiring QA effort.
- Act as a mentor to Junior QA staff and project team members.
- Help develop and implement QA team improvements and processes.
- Gain an increasing proficiency of internal and external applications, in relation to understanding how all elements of the software ecosystem work together. These areas include, API’s, batch processing, ETL processes, accounting practices.
- Act as liaison between Customer Support team and developers and BA’s where appropriate to help support production issues and resolution.
- Participate in scrum activities to support scrum team and promote an effective Agile methodology to application development.
- Assist with UAT preparation and demos periodically as required.
- Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail at all times; look for ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; monitor own work to ensure quality.
- Pursue training and development opportunities; strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.
What we are looking for:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other relevant field
- At least 3+ years of relevant QA experience
- Experience within the following sectors preferred (Insurance, Banking/Lending)
- Strong test and use case development experience
- Experience with regulatory compliance QA standards preferred.
- Experience in all stages of application testing including UI, backend, functional, regression, API
- Experience testing Pega, Salesforce or other types of BPM applications a plus
- Experience with in creating automation scripts or maintaining automation scripts a plus
- Working knowledge of Java platforms
- Working knowledge of SQL server
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience translating complex business requirement into functional testing plans and implements those plans as designed
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written communication
- Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills
- Proficient ability to operate effectively in a hybrid remote environment.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with demanding internal and external deadlines

Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000
The above pay range is for all US-based roles based on function and level, benchmarked against companies of similar size and scope. To be compliant with local legislation as well as provide greater transparency to candidates, we disclose salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired job location. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual long-term incentive stock grants. In addition, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and qualifications, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
