The Details:
We are seeking a driven, curious, and high-energy Manager, Actuarial with a solid actuarial background to join our growing Actuarial team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
What will you do? (Job Duties)
· Develop reserve recommendations for assigned books of business using Arius, improving existing tools for creating new ones as needed.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements or analytical enhancements, proactively develop solutions, and secure buy-in from sponsors.
· Accountable for the accuracy and quality in actuarial analysis and reporting.
· Provide reinsurance analytical support as needed.
· Support program reviews and contribute to expanding new segments of the company portfolio.
· Collaborate with other functional units and act as a liaison between actuarial and data teams.
· Drive data development and enhancements to internal databases, advancing data-driven decision-making.
· Monitor and analyze trends and rates for existing business portfolios.
· Contribute to building and improving core actuarial services and consulting capabilities.
· Potential to manage and mentor junior team members.
What we are looking for: (Experience)
· ACAS designation (FCAS preferred).
· 5–8 years of actuarial experience, with a focus on reserving and data analytics.
· Proven ability to summarize technical findings for diverse audiences.
· Successful in identifying key drivers in loss results and trends.
· Curiosity and creativity in developing practical, innovative solutions.
· Patience and dedication to mentoring actuarial students and supporting team growth.
· Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Pay Range: $120,000-$180,000
The above pay range is for all US-based roles based on function and level, benchmarked against companies of similar size and scope. To be compliant with local legislation as well as provide greater transparency to candidates, we disclose salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired job location. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual long-term incentive stock grants. In addition, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and qualifications, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
